Homemade Sauerkraut – The Real Deal

Learn how to make your own delicious sauerkraut at the DIXON THEATER in Poplarville.  Real sauerkraut (i.e. sour cabbage) consists primarily of shredded cabbage and salt. Real sauerkraut is nothing like the fake adulterated versions sold in supermarkets, which are made with vinegar. The Real Deal is a wild lacto-fermentation process which transforms cabbage into an amazing nutrient- and digestive-friendly probiotic health food. It cost next to nothing to make and, as we learned last week in the first workshop of the Redefining Reality – The Nutrition Series, eating sauerkraut is possibly the single most important thing you can do for your health on a daily basis. In this workshop you will learn the basic technique and many valuable tips for making the best homemade sauerkraut you will have ever tasted. You will leave home with your very own mason jar of fermenting cabbage that will be ready for you to eat in the next few days!!!

The DIXON THEATER will provide the cabbage, a mason jar, the salt, and all the other tools needed.

  • Have you taken antibiotics in the last year or so?

  • How healthy are you?
  • Really?

WHAT THE #$*! IS ON MY PLATE?

Join us at The Dixon Theater – Home of Poplarville Academy of Performing Arts for workshop number four (4) of the Redefining Reality – The Nutrition Series. After having introduced and discussed the importance of maintaining a healthy gut microbiome, having made wild fermented sauerkraut and delicious vegan cashew nut cheese, we will dive a little bit deeper into the concepts of food and nutrition, their relationship to agriculture, consciousness, health, and the Deep Control System (DCS).

What exactly is food? How is it produced? What is nutrition? The answers to these questions may seem very straightforward. However, as we will learn together through an animated an open discussion, it is not unreasonable to suspect that we have been collectively conditioned to believe certain facts that have blurred our perception of reality, and have lost the capacity to discern what is the “ideal food”. Many of our diseases and illnesses are due to a flawed diet. What is going here – what the WHAT THE #$*! IS ON MY PLATE?

Yes folks, this rabbit hole goes very deep and there are many dark tunnels that need to be explored in order to shed light and fully inner-stand the various levels of deceit and ruses that keep us locked in learned helplessness, sickness, mental, and spiritual slavery.

You can start to redefining your reality and engage in the healing process. Come rain or shine, we will be talking about the importance of food on July 20th at The Dixon Theater in Poplarville at 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm – pick the most convenient time, we do it twice.

An Introduction to Medicinal Herbs

KITF_HealingWellness_Nutrition

People like to put things into boxes. They do this to simplify and facilitate their lives. It makes it easier to understand and deal with complex issues like human health, for example. However, in many cases “food” and “medicinal herbs/plants” are one and the same.

In this presentation we will learn how to think holistically and integrate food and medicinal plants in our everyday life. A NEW and ORIGINAL Healing and Wellness Plan will be presented and discussed. Beware the many EXTERNAL PRESSURES that prevent us from remembering who we are and how to live in synergy with Creation. At the same time, do we have the WILL POWER?
